Dan Vrooomed was my Secret Santa this past year, and since we live so close together, we decided to meet up in person, but then I got sick, and then he got sick, so we finally got together at our local McDonald's at 9 PM!

The annual list of relic cards.

In my Completed Sets chart, I only count pack-based sets, or factory sets over 100 cards. I don't count small issues, like promos, oddballs, regionals, etc. I recently documented my completed inserts and parallels, now I will document the Oddballs, Promos, etc. I don't know exactly how many I've completed so I will learn as I finish the chart...

Last year I trailed off and didn't open all the trades I got, since my card stuff was put away to work on models. Hopefully I'll keep up with the 2022 trades...

I'm a set builder, I always have been, and always will be. I completed my first set in 1990 and as of this writing, April 2nd, 2013, I've completed 116 sets. My criteria for inclusion on this list: Pack based release, even if I bought a factory set, qualifies. Factory set only issues qualify at 100 or more cards. Team sets, inserts, promos, do not.
Since I am OCD, I also have kept track of when I completed many of the sets. If I know the exact date, I will include it in the caption. I also had the idea, circa 2004, to record the last card I needed to complete the set, if I wrote it down, that is the card I will use for this album.

Another year where I track my trades. Will probably be a few more than 2020 but most of my trade stash is still inaccessible to start the year.

The cards I got at the card show in Fishkill, NY on May 7th, 2022. I did very well since I spent only $32.

Autographs are usually the smallest of the three specialty lists I keep, after Relics and Serially numbered cards.

I've never tracked how many autographs, relics and serially numbered cards I've ever gotten in a year before. I decided to do that in 2017, hopefully I will remember to add each one to these lists as I add them to the Database.
Of the three I expect this list to be the largest.

Of the three "specials", Serial Numbered cards are my favorite, I am addicted to them, and I should hit 5000 in my collection during 2019.

I still like to get relic cards.

Cards Serially numbered 1 of something in my collection. Does not include 1 of 1s, of which I have several.

On May 9th, 2016 I completed (I think!) a project I have been working on since sometime in the late 1990s- at least one card from every major NBA set! This was the aspect of my collection I was proudest of, and I had original completed it in 1998. I maintained it until 2005-06 when they started issuing sets I couldn't afford. Back then I did not have access to Ebay, COMC, SportLots, etc. so if I could not afford a box I missed the set. It's actually one of the main reasons I walked away from the NBA aspect of the hobby in November or December of 2006...which I now regret. Since I got back into the NBA full time at the start of the 2012-13 season this has been my main priority, to get all the sets I missed in my time away. Now, finally, I did it!

People who share names, but are not related.

I can, and eventually will, fill in all the NASCAR teams. I do not have the knowledge for other forms of racing. This list is to hopefully bring some attention to racing sets with missing teams that I do not know.

I let the list get away from me in 2019, I need to go back and figure out who was added...but more importantly, keep it updated going forward.

After letting my records lapse for the last two years, I have caught up and can track the new NHL players added to my collection in 2021. I start with a big infusion of history thanks to my buying boxes of the two American versions of the 2004-05 In The Game Franchises set...

Although I'm a base card guy, I love relics as well. I keep track of my collection by topic, but I've never made an overall list of the different kinds of relics in my collection... until now.

The one thing I love more than anything is cars. #2 is cards. Let's see how many times they interconnect. Must be in my collection!

My additions from the small Newburgh, NY card show held December 4th, 2021

A small list. But there are a few.

At this stage there are a limited number of people I'm still missing...but there is still the opportunity to add some new people.

I've been forced out of the NBA by the insane prices that cards are selling for, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving the sport totally.

I discovered NASCAR on 12/26/1992 when my uncle gave me a big box of 1/64 Racing Champions cars. It was one of the most important days in my life, changing it's course forever. I still consider 1/64 NASCAR replicas to be my main hobby, not cards. I decided I want to track and collect all NASCAR cards #164. There aren't many, as most NASCAR sets are 100 cards or less.

A list of players who have won Rookie of the Year in the NHL. Award was named the Calder Trophy in 1943, but the Rookie of the Year award dates to the 1932-33 season.

Another year, another list...this one is game, person or race used items.

I will absolutely hit 5000 different SN cards this year...I enter the year under 100 away, and have 60 incoming...it's only a matter of time!

The elite list of people with more than 500 cards documented in my collection. Must be unique cards, and shared cards, team cards, league leaders don't count. At the time of this list's creation, only 20 people have reached that lofty plateau. For my purposes documented means scanned...there may be more people but my personal statistics only count what I've scanned.

I enjoyed tracking the trades I made last year, and decided to do it again!
